In the secondary battery industry, precise material processing and batch production efficiency are core pain points. In hydrogen energy, dispersers are mainly used to prepare fuel cell catalyst slurries. Platinum based or non precious metal catalyst particles are highly prone to agglomeration, directly affecting the catalytic efficiency and lifetime of the membrane electrode assembly. DISRAD’s high shear dispersion system, with a recommended combination of “Dissolving D + Emulsifying E” tools, uniformly disperses the catalyst in the ionomer solution, controlling particle size at the nanometer level, and supports seamless scale up from lab formulations to pilot and mass production. Additionally, for proton exchange membrane coating processes, stable dispersions effectively prevent sedimentation and improve coating consistency.

In the photovoltaic industry, DISRAD dispersers are used in key materials such as conductive silver pastes, back side aluminum pastes, and perovskite precursor solutions. Taking conductive silver paste as an example, the particle size and distribution of the silver powder directly determine the grid line resistance and photoelectric conversion efficiency. The DISRAD “Turbulent M” dispersion tool achieves rapid wetting and uniform mixing of silver powder, glass frit, and organic vehicle, shortening paste preparation time and reducing bubbles, meeting the photovoltaic industry’s stringent requirements for high solid content, low volatility, and excellent printability. Furthermore, in emerging perovskite solar cells, the disperser helps control the nanocrystal size in precursor solutions, improving film quality.
